Enough said. Wait, actually I’ll say more.
Dr. Gretchen has been working for Resilient Motherhood for 8 months and already she has made a huge impact. Clients have told me they feel like they’ve known her forever and even better, she’s an amazing Pelvic Physical Therapist. She loves helping moms with Diastasis Recti, hip pain during pregnancy, back pain during pregnancy, pelvic pain, and any problem postpartum. She has a special place in her heart for pelvic pain because she’s struggled with it as well. Dr. Gretchen sees clients in their homes 🏡 all over the Pittsburgh area - Mount Lebanon, Canonsburg, Wexford, Gibsonia, Cranberry, the city of Pittsburgh, and more.
We did a quick Q&A so you can get to know her better-
How did you get into pelvic health?
G: I took an elective class in PT grad school about pelvic health and discovered it was a way I could incorporate things I love such as yoga, mindfulness, and nutrition by adding them into each session. This took being a physical therapist to a whole other level for me and I was able to connect with my patients in a more meaningful way.
What’s your favorite part of your job?
G: Seeing the self-confidence build in people when they finally understand their bodies and how to address the issues they are facing!!!
What’s your favorite part of pelvic health?
G: How much it relates and connects to so many other parts of the human body. It is literally the hammock that carries and supports your entire body!
